"Good People" is an insightful comedy of class and culture, darkly funny and surprisingly stirring.

Join the “Good People” of Southie, a predominantly Irish neighborhood in Boston where a night on the town means a few rounds of bingo, where this month’s paycheck covers last month’s bills, and where Margie Walsh has just been let go from yet another job. Scrambling to catch a break, Margie reaches out to an old flame from her youth – now a successful doctor – and risks it all to climb out from under.

Good People examines how choices make or break us, and how the smallest twists of fate can determine our path. This poignant, brave and fiercely witty comedy burrows deep into the struggles, shifting loyalties and unshakeable hopes that come with having next to nothing in America.
