Teens Invited To Holiday Craft-Making Sessions At Valley Cottage Library

VALLEY COTTAGE, N. Y. -- Area teens looking to create homemade holiday crafts are invited to a series of ornament-making sessions on Wednesdays in December at Valley Cottage Library.

Old books can be turned into a holiday angel in the Book Angels Craft session at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9. Folding pages in a certain way can create a unique holiday decoration.

The Book Page Craft Ornament session, set for 6 p.m. Dec. 16, uses discarded book pages to create a truly "green" ornament. The first session in the series, held Dec. 2, involved creating ornaments using the Zentangle Method.
