Clarkstown Junior Aerospace Registration Begins Monday

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Registration for Clarkstown's Junior Aerospace Engineering program opens Monday, Dec. 14 at the Parks Board and Recreation Commission administration building (Street Community Center).

The program, open to kindergarteners, first- and second-graders, will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays between Jan. 27 and March 23 at the Street Community Center, 31 Zukor Road, New City.

The classes aim to teach students the fundamental principles of aircraft and spacecraft design, according to a course description. The program costs $160.

Registration can be completed at the Community Center or online as long as you have been issued a 2015 username and password. After the new year, those wishing to register online will need a new username and password.

The Community Center is open from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday; from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday; and from 10 a.m. - noon on Saturday.
