Owners Jeanette and Kumar Aditya started the celebration off with a ribbon cutting along with County Executive Ed Day and Roger Scheiber of the Rockland Business Association in attendance. The gym is located at 1581 Route 202.
The afternoon included giveaways, food and snacks and with special vendors from the community. Partners included All-State Insurance, TrustCo Bank and Shop n' Shop. Baseball fans received a special visit from Rockland Boulder’s Boulder Bird, the team's mascot.
To cap off the afternoon, guests were paid a visit from Hi Tor Animal Care Center’s kittens and cats in need of homes. Retro Fitness currently donates food to the shelter and will be their official drop off site for food and donations on an ongoing basis
New members took advantage of Retro Fitness' $0 enrollment and $0 processing fee, while Staff and the Adityas were able to meet the community as they serve the people of Pomona, Ramapo, and Suffern and surrounding Rockland County.
