3 Pulled From Fiery Suffolk County Crash, Seriously Injured Three people were seriously injured in a fiery crash on Long Island. The crash occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, when a 2017 Kia Sportage veered off Cliff Road in the village of Belle Terre, struck a tree, and caught fire, according to Suffolk County Police said. The vehicle was traveling northbound between Old Homestead Road and Bell Circle at the time.
