Wheatley Heights Man, 23, Dies When Car Crashes Into 18-Wheeler On NJ Turnpike: Troopers A Long Island man was killed when his car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. 15-Year-Old Long Island Girl Has Been Missing For 5 Days Authorities are asking for help in locating a Long Island teenager who has been missing for several days. Nathalie Sevilla, age 15, was last seen leaving her Lawrence residence at around 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. Relatives contacted Nassau County Police on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Sevilla is 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her clothing description and possible destination were not immediately available. Wading River Man ID'd As Victim In Double-Fatal Wrong-Way Driver Crash In Two men were killed during a wrong-way driver crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, in LaGrange. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an initial investigation determined Joseph W. LaFave, age 35, of LaGrange, driving a 2017 BMW X1, traveled north in the southbound lane on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Todd Hill Road.  Hicks said LaFave struck a 2017 Lincoln Navigator head-on in the left southbound lane. Fatal House Fire: 62-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Nesconset A Long Island resident was killed in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in Nesconset. First responders rushed to the scene at Highland Place after a 911 call.
