New Traffic Pattern Will Be In Place For Months On Busy Roadway In Hudson Valley
A new traffic pattern will be in place for more than six months on a busy roadway in the region. The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising motorists in Northern Westchester County that the new pattern controlled by temporary signals will be on Route 6/202 in Cortlandt. The new pattern is necessary to facilitate an ongoing flood mitigation project at the Annsville Circle, the DOT said. Route 9W Stretch Will Be Closed At Times For Nearly 2 Weeks: Here's When, Where
A busy stretch of Route 9W will be closed at times for nearly two weeks during roadwork. The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) says the stretch of the roadway will be shut down in both directions beginning Monday, Sept. 23, through Friday, Oct. 4, to facilitate construction activities, weather permitting. The work will be in Clarkstown between Short Clove Road and Route 304 inightly between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Traffic Alert: Lane Reductions Expected Along I-84 In Hudson Valley
Commuters should note that a section of I-84 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge painting. The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Dutchess County motorists that I-84 between Exit 44 (Route 52) in the Town of Fishkill and Exit 46 (Route 9) in the Town of East Fishkill, Mondays through Saturdays, beginning Monday, Aug. 12, through Monday, Sept. 30, between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For up-to-date travel information, call 511, or visit www.511NY.org.

Months-Long Closure Of Roadway In Northern Westchester Starts
A months-long closure of a roadway in the region is now underway. The New York State Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling in Northern Westchester County that Illington Road will be closed at the Taconic State Parkway in the Village of Ossining. The DOT said the closure, from Monday, July 29, through Monday, Nov. 18, is to facilitate a bridge rehabilitation project, weather permitting. Motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate. The roadway closure is necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of key bridges in the Hudson Valley.

Months-Long Lane Closure To Snag Traffic On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway
A tunnel on a busy road in the Hudson Valley will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic for several months, officials announced. Beginning on Monday, July 29, Route 9D will be reduced to a single lane at the Breakneck Tunnel between the Dutchess County town of Fishkill and the Putnam County town of Philipstown, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Expected Completion Date Announced For Years-Long Bridge Repair Project In Westchester
A multi-year project to repair a busy bridge in Westchester now has an estimated completion date. According to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, construction activity on the Ardsley Road Bridge over the Sprain Brook Parkway, which has been under repair for four years, will be completed by May 2025.
