After some 36 years of keeping the residents in the Hudson Valley entertained, a popular movie theater that has been owned by the same person for the past 20 years has closed. A candlelit vigil will soon be held to honor the memory of a 26-year-old firefighter from the Hudson Valley following his untimely death in Connecticut. Friends and strangers from across the region have come together and donated to help a family bury an 11-year-old girl hit and killed by a car. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, on Route 52 in the Lava area of the town of Tusten.
