5 From Region Nabbed On Weapons Charges During Stop Five people were nabbed on alleged weapons-related charges during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Route 17K in the town of Bloomingburg.  Trooper Steven Nevel said troopers noticed a 2017 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on 17K, violating numerous vehicle and traffic laws. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, responding officers found a 27-year-old Wallkill resident suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.  Wallkill Emergency Medical Services transported him to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown for treatment. Firefighter Falls Through Floor While Battling Blaze At Hudson Valley Home A firefighter fell through a floor during the response to a blaze at a Northern Westchester residence. The blaze began on Tuesday, Oct. 29 inside the laundry room at a North Salem home on Nash Road, according to the Croton Falls Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews soon began dousing the flames with hose lines and started making their way inside.
