Auto Dealer Murdered In Hudson Valley: 29-Year-Old Sentenced
Five years after shooting and killing a Hudson Valley automobile dealer, a 29-year-old man has been sentenced to prison.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh announced Thursday, Nov. 30, that Eric Ross, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware was sentenced to 25 years to life after being found guilty of murder by a jury in Rockland County Criminal Court in March of 2022.

Eric Ross, Jr., age 28, of Wilmington, Delaware, was convicted by a jury on Wednesday, March 23 of killing Orange County resident Youbens Joseph, age 37, of Wallkill, said Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh.

Suspect Indicted In West Nyack Murder Of Auto Dealer
A man who fled the state after brutally shooting and killing a West Nyack auto dealer has been indicted on one count of felony murder.
Eric Ross Jr., 24, of Wilmington, Delaware, was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the November 2018 murder, said Rockland County Acting District Attorney Kevin Gilleece.
“This defendant thought he could get away with murder," Gilleece said. "But, he was wrong. He will now be held accountable for the cold-blooded shooting of a local car dealer at his place of business.”
