Northern Westchester Resident Accused Of Harassing Another Woman She Said Was Stalking Her
A resident in the area has been charged with a criminal summons for alleged harassment of another woman she claimed was stalking her.
Catherine Camerota, age 67, of Yorktown, was charged on Friday, July 29, after the victim went to the police, concerned for her safety, said the Yorktown Police.
Camerota is accused of following the victim in her vehicle, blocking the victim in her parking space, confronting the victim, and accusing her of stalking, police said.
"The defendant's behavior caused the victim to be seriously annoyed and alarmed," police said.

Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill Person At Park In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A Northern Westchester man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a person at an area park.
The incident took place in Yorktown around 1:30 p.m., on Friday, April 29 at DeVito Memorial Park.
Sidney M. Russ, age 50, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested after officers responded to 345 Kear St. for a report of an aggravated harassment complaint, said the Yorktown Police.
Following an investigation at the scene, it is alleged that Russ placed the victim in fear by threatening to kill them, police said.

Man, Woman Charged For Midnight Burglary In Northern Westchester
A man and woman from the area were charged with burglary after allegedly being caught inside an occupied Northern Westchester home to remove items inside.
The incident took place in Yorktown around midnight on Thursday, April 21.
The duo were caught when Yorktown Police responded to a 911 call about a man and woman attempting to enter a garage attached to an occupied residence, said Sgt. S. Sansone, of the Yorktown Police.

Drunk Woman With Child In Car Crashes Into Utility Pole In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A local woman has been arrested for alleged drunk driving with her 12-year-old child in the back seat in Northern Westchester.
The Putnam County resident Jennifer MacDonald, age 43, of Mahopac, was nabbed by Yorktown Police when officers were called to a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, Aug. 28, on East Main Street in Jefferson Valley.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered MacDonald's car slammed into a utility pole, police said.
