Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting at a Southern Westchester bar and announced the arrest of a suspect. Antonio Antoine-Filis, age 22,was killed on Sunday, Feb. 6 around 2 a.m. during a shooting at the Duo Tapas Lounge and Bar on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers. According to Detective Lt. Worker Killed During Shooting At Westchester Bar
One worker has died after a shooting following a dispute at a bar in Westchester. The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 at the Duo Tapas Bar and Lounge on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers. A dispute at the bar escalated into violence when a "perpetrator fired several handgun shots into the vestibule of the building, striking two male employees," Yonkers Police said. Two police officers escaped serious injuries after being plowed into by another vehicle while responding to a medical emergency in Westchester. The crash took place around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 4, when two Yonkers police officers were responding to a medical emergency in the area of Tuckahoe Road. According to Sgt. John Viviano, of the Yonkers Police, the crash occurred when another vehicle turned into the police cruiser, which had on full emergency lights and sirens. Biker Riding On Sidewalk Nearly Strikes Mom, Kids In Westchester, Police Say
A Westchester man was arrested for allegedly riding his motorcycle on an area sidewalk, almost running down pedestrians. According to the Yonkers Police, Danny Martinez is facing reckless endangerment charges for almost striking a mom and her kids as he races up and down a sidewalk on his cycle. High School Student Accused Of Making Terroristic Threats In Westchester
A teenager has been arrested and charged for making a terroristic threat after he threatened to shoot up his school, police announced. Police announced officers apprehended the 17-year-old Yonkers High School student on Tuesday, Dec. 7, charging him with a felony. It is alleged that the student made overt threats to shoot up the school. A large-scale investigation is underway after a mother and daughter were found stabbed to death in their Westchester home. Yonkers police discovered the two women around 4:30 p.m, on Monday, Nov. 1, after receiving a request for a welfare check from a friend who had not heard from the daughter since Friday, Oct. 29. Two men are dead after one of them jumped from the top of a building, hitting and killing the second man below overnight in Westchester County. The incident took place around 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 20 at 77 Locust Hill Ave., in Yonkers. Alert Issued For Missing Westchester Teen
A 19-year-old has gone missing in Westchester and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him. Seth Feliz was last seen a week ago, on Wednesday, June 12, and Yonkers Police issued an alert regarding his disappearance on Tuesday, June 18. He is described as being 5-foot-7, 140 pounds.
