Woman Killed In 3-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person was killed during a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened in Dutchess County at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4 on Route 9D in the Town of Wappinger. A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Katherine E. Woisin, age 85, of Wappinger, was pulling out onto Route 9D from Alpine Drive when it was struck by another vehicle that was southbound on Route 9D, said Capt. ID Released For 23-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway State police have released the identity of a Hudson Valley man killed in a crash with a tree truck on a busy roadway. The crash took place in Orange County in the town of Tuxedo on Old Route 17 around 7:30 a.m., Monday, April 18, said Trooper Steven Nevel. The incident took place in Rockland County around 8:20 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 in West Nyack. According to Detective Norm Peters, of the Clarkstown Police, a man was struck by a vehicle in the area of 116 N. Route 303. The crash took place early Wednesday, Jan. 26, on Route 17 in the Orange County town of Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Although one lane of traffic has opened, traffic is being diverted at Crystal Run Road, Nevel said. No information regarding injuries was available at this time.
