Orange County Woman Gets 6 Months In Jail For Double-Fatal Hit-Run Crash A woman has been sentenced to six months in jail for the double-fatal, hit-and-run crash in the region.  Orange County resident Angela Fischl, age 25, of Newburgh, pleaded guilty to two counts of leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death on Tuesday, Oct. 15, Following her plea, she was sentenced to five years probation and six months in the Ulster County Jail. Her driver’s license was also revoked, said Ulster County District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Rape Of Teenager, Police Say A 41-year-old man has been charged with rape and sexual abuse of a teen in the region. Ulster County resident Stephen E. Alvarez Jr., of Milton, was charged Tuesday, July 30, by the town of Hyde Park Police for the incident, which was reported on Friday, April 26. Ulster County resident Eric Morgan, 30, of Modena, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 28 by detectives with the New Paltz Police Department for the burglaries that occurred in both the Village and Town of New Paltz between Sept. 13 and Oct. 23, said New Paltz Police Lt. Employee Assaulted In Armed Robbery At Area Gas Station Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed an area gas station at gunpoint and assaulted an employee. The incident took place in the Town of Marlborough around 2:25 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Sinclair station located at 1364 Route 9W, said the Town of Marlborough Police.
