Two Hospitalized, One Critical, After Crashing Stolen Car During Chase, State Police Say Two men were hospitalized, one in critical condition, after fleeing from New York State Police troopers in an allegedly stolen vehicle before crashing in the area. Troopers on patrol at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, May 7 on Route 9W in Ulster County in the Town of Lloyd attempted to stop the driver of a 2005 Nissan Sentra after he committed a traffic violation. It happened on Saturday, July 11 in Ulster County at about 3:45 a.m. on Route 9W and North Riverside Road in the town of Lloyd. An investigation revealed that Orange County resident Leon P. Highland Man Nabbed For Allegedly Stealing $1,800 In Jewelry, Police Say A Highland man has been arrested for allegedly ripping off some $1,800 in jewelry. Dominick Teroni Jr., 45, was arrested by Town of Lloyd Police after he was accused of entering another person's home and stealing the jewelry, Town of Lloyd police said. Teroni was charged with felony burglary, grand larceny, and petit larceny. He was arraigned before the Town of Lloyd Judge Eugene Rizzo and is being held at the Ulster County Jail without bail.

Troopers on patrol in the town of Lloyd stopped South Glens Falls resident Andrew Rodriguez shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Monday morning, after he committed a violation on the interstate. The pedestrian was struck by the marked police vehicle while on patrol in the Town of Lloyd in Ulster County on North Road, near Route 9W, just south of Route 299, at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday.  The pedestrian suffered “several injuries” and was transported to the MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for treatment.
