Home Explosion: 3 Seriously Injured As Police Probe Cause Of Incident In Region Three people were seriously injured after a home explosion in the region. It happened early Saturday afternoon, Sept. 30 in Sullivan County on James Place in the town of Thompson. A preliminary investigation reveals that the explosion may have been caused by a propane leak,and the cause "does not appear to be criminal." according to New York State Police. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Lake Kiamesha around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 on Route 42. 2 Found Dead Inside Home In Region Police are awaiting the results of autopsies after a man and a woman were found dead in a home in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 7:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 14 on DeBruce Road in Livingston Manor.
