Town Holds Firm On Hudson Valley Gun Show Cancelation Despite Organizer Changing His Mind
Despite a gun show organizer changing his mind about canceling a show on Father's Day weekend due to recent mass shootings, a Hudson Valley town is holding firm.
The event, the NEACA Gun Show, was scheduled to be held in Ulster County on Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19 in Saugerties.
The show was canceled by mutual agreement between the town and the promoter, said David Petronis, president of NEACA last week.
But on Sunday, June 12, Petronis, angry over what he said in a statement was "political" maneuverings stated he planned to "hopefully," hold the show anyway.

Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Making Videos, Photographs Of Children Performing Sexual Acts
An 18-year-old Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly producing videos of children performing sexual acts.
The unnamed Ulster County resident, from Kingston, who was underage at the time of the crime, was arrested on Friday, May 13, following a two-month investigation by the Saugerties Police, authorities said.
On Thursday, March 17, Saugerties Police received a complaint from a juvenile female that an 18-year-old male from Kingston was producing videos of children in the act of sexual performance, said Chief Joseph Sinagra of the Saugerties Police.

A Greene County resident Szitter Zoltan, age 30, of Catskill, was arrested in Ulster County in Saugerties on Saturday, April 23.

Texas Teen Damages Vehicle In Hudson Valley 'Just For Fun,' Police Say
An 18-year-old jumped on the hood of a vehicle and smashed the windshield at an area sports complex, just for fun, police said.
The incident took place on Saturday, March 26, in Ulster County at the Cantine Memorial Sports Complex in Saugerties.
Saugerties Police arrested Tyler Battros, of San Antonio, Texas, for criminal mischief, and criminal trespass following the incident, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.
