A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to shooting another man outside a popular restaurant.
Hector Luna, Jr., age 28, of Wallkill, was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in state prison on Tuesday, Jan. 17, in connection with his guilty plea to assault for having shot a man in front of a town of Wallkill restaurant in 2021, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.

A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting of a man outside of a restaurant in the Hudson Valley.
Hector Luna Jr., 27, of Wallkill, was indicted on Monday, 24, for the Wednesday, April 14, shooting of a man outside of a Town of Wallkill restaurant, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

Suspect Nabbed In Random Shooting Outside Popular Area Restaurant
A man who taunted police online to "come find me" has been arrested for the random shooting of a local man outside of a popular restaurant in Orange County.
Hector Luna, age 26, was arrested around 10 p.m., Thursday, April 15 at a Hampton Inn in Pikes County, Pennsylvania, said Wallkill Police Chief Robert C. Hertman.
Luna allegedly shot Charles Miller, 48, of Walden, outside of the You You Asian Cuisine on Route 211 around 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 14 in Wallkill, Hertman said.
