Orange County resident David Johnson, age 47, of Middletown, was sentenced on Tuesday, May 7, to six years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision for the Sunday, March 12, 2023 incident, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.

Man From Region Charged With Robbery Of Gas Station
A 38-year-old man from the region was charged with the alleged robbery of a gas station and attempted robbery of a dollar store.
Sullivan County resident Ollen Eck III, of Livingston Manor, was charged on Tuesday, April 9, for the Saturday, March 16 robbery of the Sunoco gas station, and the attempted robbery of the Dollar General, both in Livingston Manor on Monday, March 18, according to the New York State Police.
Following his arrest, Eck was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail.

Two men from the region have been charged with possession of stolen property and robbery for allegedly stealing more than 100 checks worth $130,000 from post office boxes.
Dutchess County residents Jaiyah Shabelch, age 25, and Raheem Angus, age 25, both of Poughkeepsie, were arrested on Monday, March 11 following an investigation into the thefts.
