The blaze broke out at around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 in Putnam County in the area of Route 301 and East Boyds Road in the town of Kent and was finally contained late in the day on Sunday, Oct. 27. 11-Year-Old Killed By Fallen Tree In Putnam An 11-year-old boy was killed Friday afternoon when a tree crashed through a home amid the Nor'easter, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. The tragic death occurred on 33 Dunderberg Road in Putnam Valley at about 12:15 p.m. When Deputy Charlie Johnson arrived, he observed a large tree had fallen and crashed into the home, trapping the young boy underneath.
