4 Nabbed For DWI In Hudson Valley: Wrong-Way Driving, Mailbox Damage Among Offenses, Police Say
Four people, including Westchester and Fairfield County residents, face various charges after they were caught driving while intoxicated in the Hudson Valley, police said.
The arrests all happened in Putnam County over both Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Life Insurance Scam: Police Warn Of Fake Letters From Law Firms In Hudson Valley
Authorities in the Hudson Valley are warning of scammers who have been sending letters to residents asking them to claim false life insurance policies.
The warning, issued by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Friday, May 26, was prompted after a resident received a letter from a scammer claiming to be from a Canadian law firm.

A former Hudson Valley resident has been charged with 17 counts of alleged unlawful surveillance and possessing a sexual performance by a child following an investigation that included the US Department of Homeland Security.
