Hudson Valley Drug Dealer Nabbed With 2 Kilos Of Cocaine By Drug Task Force, Police Say
An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer was nabbed with two kilos of cocaine and heroin during a bust by an area Drug Task Force.
Rockland County resident Darryl Wright, age 41, of Pearl River, was charged on Thursday, Oct. 24, with criminal possession of a controlled substance, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.
According to Walsh, the bust came following a six-month investigation into narcotics sales in the Town of Orangetown.

Body Of Missing Man With Rockland Ties Found At Garden State Parkway Rest Stop: Sources
The body of a missing Rockland County native was found at a Garden State Parkway rest stop in Montvale, New Jersey, just south of the state border, on Tuesday, Nov. 29, responders said.
No foul play was suspected in the death of Brian Lenihan, they said.
Lenihan, age 43, who most recently lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, was reported last seen on Friday, Nov. 18 in New Jersey. He reportedly still had ties to the Pearl River/Orangetown area.

Man Killed After Single-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash
A man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a guide rail in the area, police said.
Christopher Taussi, age 25, of New City, in Rockland County was killed around 10:45 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, on Route 304 in Pearl River.
According to Captain James Brown of the Orangetown Police, Taussi was driving a 2005 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle northbound on Route 304, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck the guide rail.
Taussi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Killer Of Hudson Valley Girl Granted Parole
A man convicted in the 1980 killing of a Hudson Valley teenager has been granted parole.
Robert McCain, age 60, will be allowed to be released as early as Tuesday, Aug. 3, said the state Department of Corrections and Supervision.
McCain, who killed 16-year-old Paula Bohovesky in Rockland County, had an interview with the Board of Parole the week of June 21 and was granted an open date with the earliest release date of August 3. McCain will be under community supervision for life, the department added.
