New Poll Reveals Who NYers Favor In Governor's Race Based On Inflation, Crime, Abortion
As Election Day draws nearer, new polling is highlighting the issues that are top of mind for New York voters when choosing their next governor.
Overall, incumbent Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul leads her Republican opponent, Rep. Lee Zeldin, by six points, 47 to 41 percent, according to a SurveyUSA poll released Thursday, Oct. 20.

Zeldin Holds Edge Over Hochul In NY's Suburbs, Among Independents In Brand-New Poll
Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin is narrowing the gap between his Democratic opponent, incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul, in the race to be New York’s next governor.
Hochul now leads Zeldin by just four points, 50 to 46 percent, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll of likely voters.

Pace University Student Dies After Medical Episode On Northern Westchester Campus
Pace University in Northern Westchester is mourning the death of a popular student.
Jordan Robinson, age 20, of Danbury, Connecticut, died following a medical episode on campus Sunday, Feb. 13 in Pleasantville, said Pace University officials.
According to the college, Robinson was a sophomore on the Pleasantville campus.
The college said the Mount Pleasant Police Department, which is in charge of investigating such matters, has classified his death as a medical emergency, awaiting the medical examiner's findings.

Dan Mulholland, Longtime Coach In Westchester, Dies
A beloved longtime Hall of Fame coach in Westchester died at the age of 76.
Daniel J. Mulholland, Jr., known as Coach “Mully," died Saturday, Jan. 15 surrounded by his family.
In his early years, Mulholland loved archery and traveling with his father to tournaments while spending summers with his grandfather in Dolgeville, a village in Herkimer and Fulton counties in New York.
He was a graduate of Ardsley High School and Brockport University.
Mulholland spent his life as a part of the education system and sports world.

Covid-19: Noted Sports Photographer Anthony Causi, Pace University Grad, Dies At 48
Anthony Causi, a prominent and popular sports photographer, died from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Causi, a Pace University graduate who worked for the New York Post, died on Sunday, April 12 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, the paper announced. He was 48.
A Brooklyn native, Causi joined The Post in 1994, working his way up from a photo messenger to a full-time photojournalist. During his career, he covered the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Rangers and more for The Post.
Causi was remembered by Yankee legend Derek Jeter on social media.
