The injury happened at L&S Packaging Company on Central Avenue in East Farmingdale at 7:35 p.m., according to the Suffolk County Police. The employee was using a food-dicing machine when he put his hand inside to clean it out, resulting in the severe injury. Man Killed By Falling Tree In Northern Westchester A man has died after a tree fell on him while he was working in Northern Westchester. The unidentified 61-year-old was killed around 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, on Farm Walk Road in Yorktown, police said. When officers and EMS arrived on the scene, they found the man in the backyard of the resident, unconscious not breathing after the tree fell on top of him, according to the Yorktown Police.
