A Hudson Valley man has been charged with murder in the first- and second-degree for allegedly hiring another person to stab to death his neighbor.
Orange County resident Enoch Lowe, age 25, of Wallkill, was arraigned in Orange County Court on Monday, Oct. 30 in connection with the Oct. 30, 2022, killing of his neighbor, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
Lowe's next-door neighbor, a Wallkill man, was found stabbed multiple times inside the detached garage of his residence, Hoovler said.

Man Sentenced For Starting Fire At Hudson Valley Residence Where He Lived With Girlfriend
A man has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to setting fire to an apartment where he and his girlfriend lived.
Larry Hickmon, age 30, of Middletown, was sentenced on Thursday, March 24, to 18 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
Hickmon pleaded guilty to second-degree arson on Thursday, Jan. 27, in connection with the May 17 fire at an apartment complex on Concord Lane in Middletown.

Man Admits To Breaking Into Hudson Valley Home, 'Terrorizing' Woman, DA Says
A 37-year-old man has pleaded guilty to a charge related to breaking into a woman's Hudson Valley home and "terrorizing" the woman and her family.
Alex Livingston, of Newburgh, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Feb. 15, to second-degree burglary, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
The DA's Office said Livingston violated a stay-away order of protection on Dec. 22, 2020, and damaged property throughout the woman's home, located in the Town of Newburgh.
