The vehicle was found in Orange County around 1:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, in the village of Florida. An 18-year-old man was killed during a head-on crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the intersection of Route 343 and Altamont Road in the town of Washington (Millbrook). According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, Blaine M. Hadden, age 18, of Millbrook, was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 westbound on Route 343 when he entered the eastbound lane and struck a 2004 Toyota Tundra head-on. Serious Hudson Valley Crash Leaves Rider In Critical Condition
A person was hospitalized in critical condition following a serious crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hours-long road closure. The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Aug. 30 at around 5 p.m., when a motorcycle crashed on Route 22 near the intersection with Route 311, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. The motorcyclist was later taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Hicks said. Route 22 in the crash area was closed until around 8 p.m. on Friday as authorities investigated the incident.

Statewide Alert Issued For 16-Year-Old Girl Who's Been Missing Over A Week
A statewide alert has been issued for a New York girl who's been missing for over a week. Gianna L. Thomas, age 16, was last seen leaving her Franklin County residence on County Road 20 in town of Constable on Saturday, Aug. 24, according to New York State Police. She's described as being 5-foot-7, 117 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. No clothing description was released. A Hudson Valley man who impaled his roommate in the head with a metal broom, killing him, will spend years behind bars. Orange County District Attorney David M. Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Hudson Valley
A 31-year-old motorist was killed after crashing into a tree. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in Columbia County. An investigation determined that a motorcycle driven by Schenectady County resident Randall D. Collins, age 31, of the town of Glenville, was traveling east on Route 28 in the town of Kinderhook when he went off the south shoulder, through a field and struck a tree, according to New York State Police.
