ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Hudson Valley The identity of a man struck and killed by a vehicle on a busy Hudson Valley roadway has been released by police. Rockland County resident Steven Semoff, age 64, was struck and killed at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 in the area of North Little Tor Road and Tor Terrace in New City, said Detective Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police. The first arriving officers found Semoff laying on the southbound shoulder of North Little Tor Road, Peters said. Semoff, a resident of New City, was pronounced dead at the scene, he added. Two Drivers Injured During Crash Involving School Bus, Car In Hudson Valley, Police Say Two drivers were injured during a crash of a school bus in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in New City shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. The bus was traveling south on Buena Vista Road when it collided with a Mazda traveling northbound, said Det. Norman Peters, with the Clarkstown Police. No children were aboard the bus at the time of the crash. Both drivers were transported by New City Ambulance for evaluation at a local hospital, Peters said. An investigation into how the accident occurred is still under investigation at this time.
