Teen Duo Nabbed After Police Pursuit In Hudson Valley Two teens wanted for a variety of alleged traffic and vehicle violations fled from police before being nabbed in the Hudson Valley following a parking lot crash.  The incident began in Ulster County in the town of Lloyd at 1:15 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, when two teens in a 2022 Hyundai Elantra traveling northbound on Route 9W fled from police in an attempted traffic stop and ended in Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie, According to Trooper Steven Nevel, troopers pursued the vehicle toward the city of Poughkeepsie and terminated the pursuit before entering the city. Seen Him? State Police Asking Public For Help Finding Hudson Valley Man The New York State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Hudson Valley man who hasn't been since Sunday, March 24. Nicolas Faust, age 43, formerly of Ulster County in Marlborough, and Westchester County in Peekskill, was reported missing by his family, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Faust was last seen by friends in the Mill Street area of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, March 24 around 2 a.m. He is described as being 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Officer Suffers Fentanyl Overdose During Investigation In Hudson Valley, Police Say A police officer in the region is recovering after suffering an overdose of fentanyl he was exposed to while investigating drug use in a vehicle. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13 in the 300 block of Mill Street. During the investigation, the officer removed a “foil” containing an unknown substance from the front pocket of the man in the vehicle, said Capt. Man Found Shot On Street In Area Dies, Police Say An area man who was found with bullets wounds to his torso after police responded to a call for shots fired on a city street has died. The incident took place in the city of Poughkeepsie around 3:55 a.m., Sunday, April 17. The victim, a 29-year-old Poughkeepsie resident, was found shot in the torso in front of 135 Mill St., said Det. Lt. Matt Clark, of the City of Poughkeepsie Police. He was transported to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital where he underwent surgery but died later in the morning, Clark said.
