Possible Luring Incident Involving Child Walking To School Reported In Area
A man attempted to lure a minor into his Lincoln town car near an area middle school, police said. A student walking to Nyack Middle School at approximately 7:52 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 reported that he was approached by a man near the intersection of Depew Avenue and Route 9W, according to the Orangetown Police Department. The student described the man as African American, in his 40s, with a medium complexion and beard. Police Investigate Apparent Luring Incident Involving Girl Walks To School In Nyack
Police are alerting the public to be on the lookout after a possible luring incident involving a girl in Nyack. At approximately 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, the student was walking to school in the area of Depew Avenue and Anna Street and was approached by an individual, Orangetown Police said. Luring Incident Near Nyack Middle School Leads To Increased Police Presence
There will be an increased police presence around a Nyack school this week following a reported luring incident involving a teenage girl that remains under investigation. A Nyack Middle School student walking to school was approached on Thursday morning by a man who drove up to her, Nyack Schools Superintendent James Montesano wrote in an email to parents on Friday.
