Death Of 7-Year-Old NY Boy Ruled Homicide After 3 Years Three years after a 7-year-old boy was found dead in his upstate New York home, police have ruled his death a homicide. Hunter Degroat was found unresponsive at a Fulton County residence in Johnstown on the afternoon of Aug. 9, 2022, according to New York State Police. Despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at Nathan Littauer Hospital. Tractor-Trailer Ignores Road Signs, Becomes Stuck On Hudson Valley Roadway A tractor-trailer became stuck on an area mountain road after allegedly ignoring numerous signs that the roadway was closed. The incident took place in Ulster County on Monday, Feb. 6, and Tuesday, Feb. 7, on Platte Cove Road, in the town of Saugerties. On Feb. 6, Saugerties police officers responded to a call for a stuck tractor-trailer on Platte Cove Road, said Saugerties Chief Joseph Sinagra.
