The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Dutchess County in the City of Beacon. The woman was crossing Main Street and Teller Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle, said Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson, of the City of Beacon Police. Man Pleads Guilty Of Trying To Torch Jeep In Blooming Grove, Report Says ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. - A 28-year-old man has pleaded guilty to torching a Jeep in Blooming Grove last year, according to a Times Herald-Record report. Little Ferry, N.J. resident Michael Ferrante Jr. pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree arson after admitting to attempting to light a friend's 2008 Jeep Wrangler on fire in Orange County last July, according to the report. As part of the guilty plea, it is expected that Ferrante will be sentenced to six months in jail, followed by five years probation. The judge reportedly capped the sentence at that term.
