The community is showing its support for three children who lost both their mother and father, by donating to a GoFundMe effort in a large way.
Kevin, Joey, and Brian Grogan (ages 17-26) lost their mother, Audrey Grogan, and father, George Grogan, during a murder/suicide event that set off a large manhunt in the area of Bear Mountain Reservation.
The young men's loss began on Friday, Sept. 27, when George Grogan called one of his sons and told him he had killed the children's mother, Audrey Grogan.

Man Wanted For Killing Wife Found Near Bear Mountain Bridge Had Been Served Divorce Papers
Just a day before George Grogan called his son and said that he had killed his mother, Audrey Grogan, he had been served with divorce papers.
George Grogan, 59, called his son on Friday, Sept. 27, he was served divorce papers on Thursday, Sept. 26, court records show.
After the call, the son notified the Town of Poughkeepsie police who minutes later responded to Grogan’s residence located at 6 Shamrock Circle in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Man Wanted For Killing His Wife Found Dead Near Bear Mountain Bridge
A man wanted for killing his wife and then leaving her body in a vehicle near Bear Mountain Bridge has been found dead.
George Grogan, 59, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was found dead during a search Thursday, Oct. 3, by Town of Poughkeepsie Police and New York State Police, along with other agencies, in a wooded area east of Bear Mountain Bridge, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Michael O'Dowd.
