Driver Killed When SUV Strikes Garbage Truck In Cronomer Valley The driver of an SUV was killed Saturday morning when the vehicle crashed into a garbage truck in the Town of Newburgh. The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on Route 32 (North Plank Road) near the intersection of Paffendorf Drive in the Cronomer Valley section of the town, said Lt. James Nenni of the Town of Newburgh Police Department. An SUV, which was traveling eastbound on Route 32, struck a garbage truck from behind.
