Courtney O’Connell, Former HS Cheerleader In Westchester, Dies At 20 Courtney Elizabeth O’Connell, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Sunday, Jan. 28. She was 20 years old. She was a student at New Rochelle High School where she was an exceptional member of the cheerleading team. She also loved basketball and could often be seen wearing her “12″ jersey with a ball in her hand. Later, she attended Westchester Community College and was seeking a career in nursing. Courtney was born on April 11, 1997 in New Rochelle to Jeremiah Brennan and Kim O’Connell.  She is survived by her mother Kim, her sister Ashley Brennan, her grandmother Elizabeth O’Conn…
