Man Faces Felony DWI Charge After Northern Westchester Crash Police arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly crashed his vehicle while intoxicated in Northern Westchester. At about 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, police responded to the area of 3303 Crompond Road (Route 202) in Yorktown following a report of a crash, according to the Yorktown Police Department. New York State Police investigators in the Hudson Valley are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted woman who allegedly broke into an Orange County home. Desiree Nieves, 38, was arrested after allegedly breaking into a Middletown home and stealing multiple items, reportedly including a handgun. Nieves later failed to pay court-ordered restitution to her victim and a warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest by Orange County Court.
