The Dutchess County resident has been identified as 42-year-old Sukanya Basu of Beacon. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Fishkill Creek, said Det. Sgt. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 18 in the city of Beacon. According to Det. Sgt. Woman Killed Crossing Busy Hudson Valley Roadway, Police Say A woman was killed after she was struck by a Jeep Wrangler crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Dutchess County in the City of Beacon.
