A newly renovated firehouse is helping firefighters in the Hudson Valley respond to emergencies with its state-of-the-art equipment. The name of the Hudson Valley woman who died after falling 15 feet into a creek while having a picture taken has now been released. The Dutchess County resident has been identified as 42-year-old Sukanya Basu of Beacon. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Fishkill Creek, said Det. Sgt. Woman Dies After Falling 15 Feet Into Hudson Valley Creek While Having Picture Taken
A 42-year-old woman died after falling down a 15-foot embankment into a creek in the region while having her picture taken. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 18 in the city of Beacon. According to Det. Sgt. A woman was killed after she was struck by a Jeep Wrangler crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Dutchess County in the City of Beacon. The woman was crossing Main Street and Teller Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle, said Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson, of the City of Beacon Police.
