Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Nassau County Police detectives say officers responded to reports of human remains found at Hempstead Harbor in Roslyn just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10. New Bomb Threat Sent To Kellenberg High School For Second Straight Day A high school on Long Island had to be cleared for the second straight day after a new bomb threat.The latest incident happened around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale. New Details Emerge After Person Found Shot Dead On Roadway In Wantagh New details have been released after a man was found dead on Long Island overnight. Officers responding to Wayside Lane in Wantagh at around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, located the person on the side of the road who had sustained a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene. In a new update, police say the person has been identified as a 32-year-old from Amityville. His identity has not yet been released. The alleged incident happened around 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, in Lawrence, at Kay Jewelers at 331 Rockaway Turnpike. Responding officers were informed that a man had fled the store with a necklace that he was trying on valued at approximately $5,700, according to Nassau County Police. New Law Will Put A Student On Every School Board In NY There will soon be a student on every school board in New York.A new law requiring all state boards of education to have at least one student member will take effect on July 1, 2025. The students will attend public meetings, but not executive sessions, and won't be allowed to vote. Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the bill on Thursday, Sept. 5.
