New York State Police troopers conducted a special detail over the weekend looking for impaired drivers as they continue their STOP-DWI crackdown. In total, 30 motorists were busted during the detail.
Among those arrested include:
Friday, Feb. 23:
- State police troopers from the Pine Bush barracks stopped New Windsor resident Franklin Patterson, 35, on River Road in Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Patterson was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Middletown resident David Middleton, 35, on Route 17A in Wallkill for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Middleton was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
Saturday, Feb. 24:
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Middletown resident Sherida Llewellyn,28, on East Main Street in Middletown for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Llewellyn was under the influence of a;cpjp; and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Greenville barracks stopped Mamaroneck resident Alyssa Mazzarri, 29, on Route 9W in Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Mazzarri was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Montgomery barracks stopped Newburgh resident Andrew Walker, 36, on Route 207 in New Windsor for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Walker was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Monroe barracks stopped Monroe resident Matthew Ryan, 32, on Route 17M in Monroe for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Ryan was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Pine Bush barracks stopped Newburgh resident Clyde Jackson, 42, on Route 17 in Wallkill for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Jackson was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Greenville barracks stopped Newburgh resident Luis Dyre, 41, on I-84 in Wawayanda for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Dyre was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
Sunday, Feb. 25:
- State police troopers from the Hamptonburg barracks stopped Goshen resident Benjamin Glick, 26, on Route 207 in New Windsor for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Glick was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Monroe barracks stopped Warwick resident Cassidy Janisheski, 22, on Route 94 in Warwick for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Janisheski was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Monroe barracks stopped Gosen resident Kendall Novak, 29, on Main Street in Warwick for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Novak was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Warwick resident Laurie Palmieri, 47, on South Street in Warwick for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Palmieri was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Middletown resident Kasandra Nrecaj, 23, on Route 17A in Goshen for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Nrecaj was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Middletown resident Linda Tinsley, 42, Silver Lake Scotchtown Road in Wallkill for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Tinsley was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Middletown barracks stopped Middletown resident Devon Riley, 31, on West Main Street in Middletown for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Riley was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Haverstraw barracks stopped Greenwood Lake resident Kim Charalambides, 42, on South Street in Warwick for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Charalambides was under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
- State police troopers from the Montgomery barracks stopped Middletown resident Michael Benedetto, on Route 32 in Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, it was determined that Benedetto was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
Each of the arrested parties was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Each has since been released to a sober third-party and are due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
