The state of emergency advises residents to boil water for at least two minutes before using it for drinking or food preparation. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

The advisory also requires residents to conserve water by eliminating any outside water use, including irrigation systems in an effort to refill the system.

Limited water will also be available at the Village Department of Public Works.

The general area of the water main break has been isolated, but crews continue to work to find the exact location of the leak.
