New York Upstate released a report this week listing the most expensive zip codes upstate - which includes all Hudson Valley counties north of Westchester and Rockland.
The report cited data from Property Shark, a real estate research website that collects information to determine the most expensive places to live, based on closed sale prices.
The rankings were based on the median closed sale price for homes sold in every zip code last year.
Among the most expensive Hudson Valley zip codes to live in, according to the report, include:
Putnam County
- Cold Spring (third overall) - 10516 - with a median price of $450,000;
- Garrison (sixth) - 10524 - with a median price of $435,000;
- Mahopac (16th) - 10541 - with a median price of $352,500;
- Putnam Valley (18th) - 10579 - with a median price of $340,000 and;
- Holmes (58th) - 12531 - with a median price of $282,500.
Orange County
- Tuxedo Park (fifth overall) - 10987 - with a median price of $439,000;
- Salisbury Mills (15th) - 12577 - with a median price of $353,500;
- Central Valley (26th) - 10917 - with a median price of $327,675;
- Campell Hall (34th) - 10916 - with a median price of $315,950;
- Highland Mills (44th) - 10930 - with a median price of $297,500;
- Goshen (45th) - 10924 - with a median price of $296,000;
- Rock Tavern (12575) - 12575 - with a median price of $290,000;
- Monroe (51st) - 10950 - with a median price of $288,250;
- Cornwall-on-Hudson (58th) - 12520 - with a median price of $282,500;
- Warwick (61st) - 10990 - with a median price of $282,000 and;
- Westtown (63rd) - 10998 - with a median price of $280,116.
Dutchess County
- Rhinecliff (eighth overall) - 12574 - with a median price of $422,500;
- Rhinebeck (29th) - 12572 - with a median price of $323,750;
- Clinton Corners (35th) - 12514 - with a median price of $315,500;
- Stormville (40th) - 12582 - with a median price of $308,000;
- Salt Point (43rd) - 12578 - with a median price of $298,500;
- Lagraneville (46th) - 12540 - with a median price of $295,000;
- Millerton (53rd) - 12546 - with a median price of $287,500;
- Beacon (55th) - 12508 - with a median price of $285,078 and;
- Holmes (56th) - 12531 - with a median price of $285,000.
