Suspect Runs From Traffic Stop, Eludes Search In Hudson Valley A suspect was able to escape police following a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened in Rockland County on Sunday, Jan. 26, when the suspect was pulled over in Spring Valley on North Main Street, according to New York State Police. Witnesses told The Monsey Scoop that the suspect was reportedly found to be wanted by the Clarkstown Police Department. Search On For Suspect Who Stole From Hudson Valley Business, Police Say Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person connected to an ongoing theft investigation in Rockland County.  In an announcement on Monday, Jan. 27, the Haverstraw Police Department shared images of a suspect captured during two separate incidents at a local business, which was not named.  The department has not released further details about the theft but is urging anyone who may recognize the person in the photos or has relevant information to come forward. Lanes Reopen After Crash On NY Thruway In Hudson Valley (Developing) A crash on I-87 in the Hudson Valley blocked multiple lanes for hours on Monday, Jan. 27. The incident happened in Rockland County on Monday, Jan. 27 at around 11:05 a.m. on I-87 South in Ramapo, according to 511NY.  The crash temporarily left the left and center southbound lanes blocked and caused stop-and-go traffic in the area. 2 Pulled From Wrecked Car In Hudson Valley Two people were rescued after a vehicle slammed into a pole in the Hudson Valley, leaving it tipped on its side.  The crash happened in Rockland County on Saturday, Jan. 25 just after 9:30 p.m., when a car hit a pole in Nyack on Old Mountain Road near North Midland Avenue, according to the Nyack Fire Department. Arriving fire crews pulled two trapped people from the wreck with help from the Central Nyack Fire Department.  The Nyack Community Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedic Services also helped treat those injured and transport them to hospitals.  The response to…
