11 Students Sent To Hospital Following 4-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus In Hudson Valley A four-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Route 9 in the Hudson Valley sent 11 students and several drivers to the hospital. The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 4699 Post Road in Hyde Park. According to Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson, a preliminary investigation revealed that the collision involved a 2023 Honda Accord and a 2020 Hyundai traveling southbound on Route 9.  At the same time, Benson said a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound when the driver became distracted by something inside his vehicle. Going Once: Hotel In Hudson Valley To Be Sold At Auction After several years of being operated by a management company, a popular, well-appointed hotel in the region is being auctioned next month. According to Ten-X, the 121-room Holiday Inn Express in Dutchess County on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie will be auctioned on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The company-owned property was originally put up for sale in 2020, but it was pulled due to the pandemic and market plunges.  Ten-X says the property is offered unencumbered by management and debt.
