5 From Region Nabbed On Weapons Charges During Stop Five people were nabbed on alleged weapons-related charges during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Route 17K in the town of Bloomingburg.  Trooper Steven Nevel said troopers noticed a 2017 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on 17K, violating numerous vehicle and traffic laws. Hudson Valley Dealer Nabbed With Fentanyl, Ghost Gun, Police Say An alleged Hudson Valley fentanyl and cocaine dealer was busted with drugs and a ghost gun during a warrant search of his home. Dutchess County resident George Cintron, age 37, of Beacon, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 17, by members of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force, Cintron, had been the subject of an investigation into sales of cocaine and fentanyl in the city of Beacon. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With Loaded Gun Following Chase, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was nabbed with a loaded semi-automatic ghost gun after a chase with police. The incident occurred in Orange County on Wednesday, July 24, around 11 p.m. in the area of Third Street and City Terrace in the city of Newburgh. According to Newburgh Chief of Staff Mike Neppl, detectives from the department's Non-Fatal Shooting Task Force were patrolling the area, which has experienced a rash of narcotics complaints and shooting incidents.
