The incident happened just before 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in Ronkonkoma. Students At Kellenberg HS Forced To Wait Outside As Police Search For Bombs Police on Long Island say the bomb threat made against a high school was a hoax.  Kellenberg Memorial High School, at 1400 Glenn Curtiss Blvd., in Uniondale was alerted to the call just after 7 a.m., Nassau County authorities said.  The call was made anonymously to the 988 Lifeline, a suicide and crisis hotline. The caller claimed to have planted bombs around the school grounds.  Police and Homeland Security agents had teachers and students wait outside until they deemed the area safe.  Officers are investigating who made the call.

Man Wanted For Forcible Touching At Long Island Stop & Shop Police are working to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting someone at a Long Island Stop & Shop. The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, in Merrick at the Stop & Shop located near Merrick Avenue and Smith Street. Nassau County Police said the man forcibly touched the victim “in an inappropriate sexual manner.” No other details were given. Bomb Threat At Long Island Court Came From Outside US: Police Police are continuing to investigate a bomb threat sent to a Long Island courthouse. It happened at about 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 17 in Southampton. According to local police, the Southampton Town Justice Court received multiple emails regarding a bomb threat. The threats prompted officers, detectives, and K-9 units to check the court and surrounding areas, which determined the area to be clear. Investigators said the email may have originated from outside the United States and is not linked to the Southampton Court. However, police said the investigation will remain ongoing.
