A driver was shot near a Long Island shopping center in an apparent act of road rage. The incident happened in Lawrence, at the Five Towns Shopping Center on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Nassau County Police said a 54-year-old man was driving a pickup truck northbound on Rockaway Turnpike when he got into a road rage confrontation with another man driving a sedan. If you recognize this early-morning burglar, police want to hear from you. Surveillance cameras were rolling when a masked man broke into a Long Island business and stole money. The incident happened in Hewlett, at Geffen Gourmet on Mill Road, at around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Nassau County Police said a male suspect got inside by prying open a rear door. Police are trying to identify a man who urinated on the front porch of a Long Island home and shouted antisemitic obscenities. The incident happened in Plainview, at a residence on Grohmans Lane, at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. Nassau County Police said surveillance video showed a man walk up to the home and expose himself before urinating on the victim’s front door and Ring doorbell camera. Burglar Sought After Stealing Cash From Long Island Business
Police are investigating after a burglar made off with over $1,000 from a Long Island business. The break-in happened in Oyster Bay at the Lee’s Laundromat on South Street sometime overnight Monday, Sept. 9. Nassau County Police said someone pried open a rear door before stealing approximately $1,500 in cash. They then fled in an unknown direction. No description of the suspect was given. Do you know him? Authorities are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who allegedly used a stolen credit card at a Long Island convenience store. Police are searching for the person or persons responsible for pouring paint on banner expressing support for Israel at a Jewish center on Long Island. Nassau County Police say the incident happened on Friday, Aug, 30 at 9 p.m. in Searingtown. Woman Wearing Surgical Mask At Large After Bank Robbery At Long Island Chase Branch
A female suspect is at large after a bank robbery on Long Island. It happened just after 4:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 in Selden. According to Suffolk County Police, a white woman wearing a surgical mask entered Chase Bank at 999 Middle Country Road and presented the teller with a note demanding money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled on foot with cash. Police are investigating an overnight Long Island shooting that left one man dead and another injured. It happened Saturday, Aug. 31 at about 7:45 p.m. in North Bellport. The two individuals were shot during a confrontation between two groups of people on Patchogue Avenue, between Doane Avenue and Bayview Avenue, according to the Suffolk County Police.
