Dutchess County Man Admits To Assault, Drug Possession A man in the region is headed for prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempted assault and possession of narcotics.  Dutchess County resident Rakim Paulin, age 43, of Beacon, pleaded on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi. Dutchess County Man Busted By Drug Task Force Following Investigation An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer was nabbed following a three-month investigation into the sale of cocaine in the area. Dutchess County resident Shyquan J. Collins, age 32, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Oct. 31, by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force, Collins, was investigated for more than three months in the town and city of Poughkeepsie for the sale of cocaine.
