7 Suspects Nabbed In Undercover Child Exploitation, Trafficking Detail In Hudson Valley
Seven suspects have been charged following an undercover child exploitation detail. It was conducted over several days by New York State Police and the FBI in Orange County, in the town of Wallkill. "The detail deployed highly trained Investigators and agents to infiltrate online platforms where these crimes are often facilitated," according to state police. Former Iona University Basketball Player Chosen To Star On New Season Of 'The Bachelor'
ABC's "The Bachelor" franchise has announced its next star. His name is Grant Ellis, and he's a 30-year-old day trader with New Jersey and New York roots. The Houston, Texas resident initially competed on this season of "The Bachelorette" starring Jenn Tran, who grew up in Bergen County. Ellis was eliminated just before Tran picked her final four. BMW Crashes In Hudson Valley After NJ Burglary, Pursuit, Police Say
An occupant of a BMW SUV was seriously injured during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also involved an alleged home burglary and a police pursuit. The incident began in Bergen County, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Closter and ended in Rockland County, in Palisades, a few minutes later with a violent crash that rolled the vehicle and landed it back upright. Fireball Traveling 34,000 MPH Over NYC Caused Loud Boom Heard Across Tristate: NASA
The mysterious boom heard and felt across the tristate area may have been caused by a meteor passing through the area, NASA says. Locals reported hearing thunder-like booms and rattling just after 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 16. The USGS ruled out earthquakes, and residents across the tri-state reported witnessing fireballs to the American Meteor Society.
