Covid-19: Here's Latest Update On Number Of Rockland County Deaths, Cases
The number of cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to climb as the death toll rises in Rockland County, according to the Department of Health.
There are currently 8,474 reported cases, according to New York State Health officials.
As of Thursday, April 16, there are still 231 confirmed COVID-19 patients who are hospitalized, with an additional 255 cases pending.
Since the outbreak began, there have been 298 COVID-19 related deaths.

Covid-19: New Update On Number Of Fatalities, Cases By Town In Rockland County
The number of fatalities continues to rise in Rockland County from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As of Tuesday, April 14, there are 2,934 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Rockland Department of Health. The state, which uses cases by Zip codes, lists the number of cases in Rockland as 8,335.
In addition, there were 241 deaths reported in the county on Monday, and 263 on Tuesday.
Those hospitalized for confirmed COVID-19 numbered 213, and those hospitalized for suspected COVID-19 was 275.

Storm With Gusty Winds Knocks Out Power To Thousands, Brings Down Trees In Rockland, Orange
Thousands are without power in Rockland and Orange counties as storms rolled through the region, bringing whipping winds of more than 70 mph that toppled tree limbs and downed power lines.
As of 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, Orange and Rockland Utilities was reporting that 5,258 of its 105,399 Orange County customers were without power, while 8,100 of their 118,770 Rockland customers were without power.
Central Hudson was reporting that 6,362 of its 52,477 Orange County customers were also left in the dark.
