Man Indicted For Fatal Stabbing Of Senior Citizen In Hudson Valley Road Rage Incident
A Hudson Valley grand jury has indicted a 22-year-old man for manslaughter in connection with a stabbing death during a road rage incident.
Orange County resident Horace Duke, of Wallkill, was indicted on Thursday, Nov. 3 for manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon for the Sunday, Oct. 30 incident, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
Duke was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail, $500,000 bond, or $750,00 partially secured bond.

A Hudson Valley man has been charged with multiple counts of manslaughter following a triple-fatal crash.
Orange County resident Anthony Jones, age 24 of Walden, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 12, following a 14-count indictment by a grand jury for the Aug. 4, 2021 crash in Wallkill.
On Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, the New York State Police at Middletown investigated a motor vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of State Route 17 in the town of Wallkill between exits 118 and 119, said Trooper Steven Nevel.

ID Released For Person Struck, Killed By Train In Hudson Valley
Officials with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority have released the identity of a man who was killed after being struck by a train in the Hudson Valley.
Paul Engel, age 67, of Manhattan, was killed in Orange County around 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17 in Scotchtown, a hamlet of the town of Wallkill.

According to the MTA, Engel was struck by a New Jersey Transit Authority train and confirmed dead at the scene.
