Girl Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Hammer Crashes Through Car Window
A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured after being hit with a hammer that was thrown through the windshield of the car she was riding in. The incident took place around 2:20 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 10, just south of Exit 14A on I-87, in the town of Ramapo in Rockland County. According to New York State Police Trooper Tara McCormick, a preliminary investigation determined that a hammer went through the windshield of a vehicle, striking the front seat passenger. ID Released For Woman Killed In Hit-Run Hudson Valley Crash
The identity has been released of a woman killed in a hit-and-run crash in the area as police seek any possible witnesses. It happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 in Rockland County, in the area of Route 9W and Rockland Lake North in Clarkstown. The preliminary investigation has revealed that a 40-year-old woman was walking alongside the southbound lanes of Route 9W when she was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene, Clarkstown Police said. Police Search For Black Vehicle After Shots Fired In Broad Daylight In Rockland County
Police are investigating after shots were fired from a vehicle in Rockland County. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, in Ramapo when the shots were fired into the air by a person who fled the scene in a black four-door vehicle, said Ramapo Police. The incident took place on a property located in the area of Church Road and Smith Hill Road, police said. The incident is currently under investigation. This is a developing story.
